Whithering heights

What happens if instead of low estrogen… we in fact have the opposite problem. When is too much actually too much?

Well first off all hormones should be balanced and none of them high or low to ensure optimal health. If you have estrogen dominance you could be experiencing the following symptoms:

- Tender boobs

- Fatigue

- Severe PMS symptoms

- Irregular cycles

- Bloating

- Sleep disturbance

- Low libido

So how do we balance estrogen when it is too high? Low-fat and fibre rich meals, supplements that help metabolise excess estrogen, sleep and exercise.

It is also important to get your Dr to check any medication that you are on to ensure that you are metabolising estrogen properly.

Why is managing high estrogen correctly so critical? Unfortunately high estrogen levels that go unchecked can contribute to female cancers, high blood pressure and clotting. It could also indicate thyroid disfunction or low progesterone and testosterone.

So ladies… time to get your “E” into Drive.
